Present Band Members:
Jeremy is the worship leader at NCEC, and has been a musician for over 20 years. Jeremy is from Memphis, TN originally, but has lived in many places. He went to high school in South Korea, and returned there in 2001 to teach computer science. He has lived in Fort Myers for 3 years now, and enjoys music and spending time with his family.
Bob Lucas - Electric Guitar/Vocals
Bob Lucas is a professional musician, originally from western New York
State. He has worked with numerous bands and artists and has played for
several years in the rhythm section of the orchestra at a large church in SW
Florida. Bob is married, has seven children and three grandchildren. He is
passionate about communicating God's truth through music.
Brennan Courtwright - Bass Guitar
Brennan is a deacon at NCEC, and is a native of Fort Myers. He went to school at ECS for high school and FGCU for college. In 2005 he met his beautiful and talented wife Mariel and they got married later that same year. Brennan and Mariel have one child, a daughter named Laney. In his free time you will most likely find Brennan on the golf course. Golf is his favorite sport for obvious reasons (the golf carts, beer, and cigars of course). He has always loved music and started playing the bass guitar in 2010. In his free time he enjoys spending time with his wife, daughter, and his NCE church family.
Denise DeFrehn - Vocals
Gail Ann Bondar - Vocals
You will most likely find GAB on Facebook and overly excited about new episodes of Glee and American Idol. She is a vocalist in the NCE Worship Band, leader in our Teen ministry, helps out with our women's ministry and the annual NCE Conference. She is originally from Eastern Canada and moved to Florida 9 years ago with her husband of 12 years, Alan. She is thrilled to be apart of the NCE family and loves to ponder about God's abundant grace in her life.

Denise is the wife of Jeremy, and the mother of their one and a half year old son, Micah. Denise is from upstate New York, and lived in South Korea for a few years, where she met Jeremy. She currently works for Sylvan Learning Centers in Fort Myers. Denise is one of the vocalists in the worship band at NCEC, and enjoys music and spending time with her family.
